John H. Emrich has performed for many of the world's leaders as a featured member of the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, DC. In 2006, John retired from active duty and has become a much sought after performer/clinician. As a producer, John has recorded the industry's top selling percussion sound sample collections for use in Virtual Instruments. His articles on modern use of electronic percussion are featured in Modern Drummer Magazine. He continues to work as a member of the Washington Winds and Studio A Big Band.
